PURPOSE: To alway keep a stationary state in transferring a glass plate supported by receivers to a conveyor roller by providing the receivers each of which freely rises and fallws via a freely vertically moving plate, and instantly lowering the receivers using engagement means while applying downward tension to the receivers using spring members.

CONSTITUTION: When a cylinder 24 is operated by a signal command and connected to a cylinder rod and a locked state in which a trigger 25 axially attached to a vertically moving plate 8 and engaged with the lower end of a switching member 22 is rotated is released, a supporting member 18 is pulled down by the tension of spring members 23, 23 at a time. Guide members 16, 16 secured to the supporting member 18 and loosely fitted to a guide block 15 and to a lower arm 7, and a glass plate 20 supported to upright receivers 21, 21 via the supporting member 18 and via a supporting block 19 are also lowered following the supporting member and placed on a conveyor roller 1. Since the glass plate 20 is lowered by the tension of the spring member 23, 23 at a rate greater than gravitational acceleration, it can be supplied to the correct position on the conveyor roller 1 that rotates.
