Title:
CREWMAN PROTECTING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH07108901
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To surely actuate a plurality of safety gears at a low cost, and moreover to optionally set up their actuating timing.

CONSTITUTION: A crewing protecting device has a plurality of series-connected actuating means SQ1 to SQ4 which severally actuate a plurality of safety gears for protecting crewmen at the time of the clash of vehicles by turning on electricity; a detecting means 5 to detect the clash of the vehicle by detecting its acceleration; a normally non-conductive safety sensor means SS being resetably conducted at fixed acceleration smaller than the acceleration at which the detecting means 5 detects the clash; and a power source C to supply electricity to the actuating means SQ1 to SQ4 through the safety sensor means SS. In addition, the crewmen protecting device is formed so that the actuating means SQ1 to SQ4 may be supplied with electricity when the detecting means 5 detects the clash, and a plurality of actuating means SQ1 to SQ4 are severally provided in parallel with switch means Q1 to Q4 which are always in an ON-state to bypass the actuating means, and when a signal is sent from the detecting means, turned into an OFF-state to supply electricity to the actuating means.
