PURPOSE: To provide a foreflock arrangement mechanism for a Japanese coiffure type wig, designed so as to freely arrange forelocks without loosing the forelocks after hairdressing and capable of freely displacing the forelocks forwards or backwards or making the volume of the forelocks larger or smaller and its arrangement method.

CONSTITUTION: This forelock arrangement mechanism involves a front bundle unit 1 composed of bundled forelocks B planted in the forehead part of a metal base A and a rear arrangement unit 2 is fixed to a metal base behind the front bundle unit 1. A sliding member 3 is passed through the rear arrangement unit and fixed to a coupling bar 4. This forelock arrangement mechanism is equipped with a rear binding unit 5 for binding the rear end side of the coupling bar and the rear end side of the forelocks and with a front arrangement unit 4a for fixing the front bundle unit in a state in which it can be moved back and forth at the rear end side.
