PURPOSE: To promote the long service life of a cylinder mechanism in avoiding any thermal effect by locking this cylinder mechanism to a side where it becomes more distant from a hot working machine in order to charge the work.
CONSTITUTION: When a work W is transferred to a box 66, both sub cylinders 8A and 8B are synchronously driven together and a sub rod 82 shifts in an arrow X2 direction, whereby a rocker link 90 is synchronously rocked, and ab on-off plate 93 shifts in an arrow Y1 direction along a guide rod 92, therefore a shaft end face W 10 of the shaft-form work W is clamped tight by an engaged wall 66j of the second box 66. When the work W is clamped like this, a main cylinder 4 is driven, a main rod 41 shifts in an arrow X1 direction and the box 66 leads to a position A2 from a position A1. Simultaneously with this, the sub rod 82 shifts in the arrow X1 direction, and the on-off plate 93 and the box 66 are opened in an arrow Y2 direction, so the work W is unclamped, and thus the work W is charged in a hot working machine. At this time, since the sub cylinder 8 separates far off from this hot working machine, intense heat comes hard to be transmittable in consequence.
