Abstract:
The device (1) for clamping the reinforcement manufactured from a single wire (4) essentially comprises two jaws (10, 11) gripping the wires arranged at the beginning (41, 42) and at the end (43, 44) of the reinforcement. A sharp blade (13) cuts the wires and then, without unclamping the jaws, the latter bear against the core (7) for immobilising the wire (4) by virtue of the layer of raw rubber with which the core (7) has previously been coated.
