PURPOSE: To provide a transfer paper regenerating for device removing toner from transfer paper without damaging paper fiber so as to enable to reuse.
CONSTITUTION: A specified processing solution is supplied to transfer paper 10 with toner stably attached to the surface by a solution supply unit 2 so as to make the attached state of the toner to the transfer paper 10 unstable. Water, the aqueous solution of a surface active agent and a water soluble polymer, or the like is used as this processing solution. While the transfer paper 10 containing the processing solution is heated and pressurized by a toner separating unit 3, the toner is attached to the separting roller 302 with the surface to which the softened toner is easily attached, and only the transfer paper 10 is separated from the surface of the separating roller 302 by a separating claw 303. The transfer paper 10 is then heated or the like by a drying unit 4 to remove the contained processing liquid and discharged onto a discharge tray 501 so as to be reused for a copying machine or the like.
