PURPOSE: To enable the use of various ink ribbon cassettes by allowing a plurality of the projections provided to a shaft terminal formed from a thin plate composed of a spring member to bite into the knob of an ink. ribbon cassette pressing and deforming the central part of the thin plate to grasp the knob.

CONSTITUTION: When the cassette knob of an ink ribbon cassette pushes the central part of a shaft terminal 17 downwardly from a shaft terminal stand 18 having the shaft terminal 17 arranged to the upper part thereof, the central part of the shaft terminal 17 is deformed downwardly because the shaft terminal 17 is formed from a thin plate. When the knob of the ink ribbon cassette is further pushed in, the projections 20 formed on the surface of the shaft terminal 17 come into contact with the outer periphery of the knob of the ink ribbon cassette and bite into the knob from the tips thereof to stop. In such a state that the projections 20 bite into the knob of the ink ribbon cassette, the revolving force of the shaft terminal stand 18 being the drive shaft of an ink ribbon regeneration apparatus is transmitted to the ink ribbon cassette through the shaft terminal 17 and the knob. This state is held during the coating with ink.
