Title:
STRUCTURE OF CURRENT SUPPLY TERMINAL FOR OXIDE SUPERCONDUCTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0714620
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the structure of a current supply terminal of an oxide superconductor which gives less strain to a superconductive tape unit than existing structure which fixes individual superconductive tape unit on the outer ciecumference surface, is resistant to apply strain to the current supply terminal, and has low deterioration in superconductive performance.

CONSTITUTION: Plural spiral grooves 12 are formed on the outer circumference surface of a tube made of metal, and a coolant flow path is formed on the inside of the tube to form a central tube 11. An oxide superconductive tape unit 15 is loosely inserted without fixing into each spiral groove of the central tube 11 to fabricate a superconductor 9. At least one end of the superconductor 9, a flexible current supply lead wire 30 is connected to the superconductive tape unit 15 inside the spiral groove, and the superconductive tape unit 15 in the connected part is made movable together with the lead wire along the spiral groove 12 of the central tube 11.
