Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a structure of arranging a roof carrier box for an automobile capable of suppressing generation of a wind noise by improving an aerodynamic characteristic.
CONSTITUTION: A recessed part 3 is formed in a roof part 2 of a car body, a storage part 5 for storing an article is provided in a carrier box main unit 4, the carrier box main unit 4 is removably mounted on the recessed part 3, a cover unit 6 for closing the storage part 5 is openably/closably mounted on the carrier box main unit 4, and in a condition that the cover unit 6 is closed, an external surface 2a of the roof part 2 except the recessed part 3 is set so as to be flush with an external surface of the cover unit 6.
