PURPOSE: To provide an IC card which can be used easily to whatever outer device it may be and tiny a size in the detachment direction may become.
CONSTITUTION: A groove 20a is formed on a right and left both side end faces of a frame 2 of a card main body 20 in the longitudinal direction. Deep grooves 20b, 20c are formed respectively on a front end side and rear end side of the groove 20a. An inner protrusion 21b fitting in the deep grooves 20b, 20c is formed on a front end of a right and left both side parts 21a of a U-shaped member 21. Then as for the U-shaped member 21, the inner protrusion 21b is fitted in the deep groove 20b or the deep groove 20c and a movement of the U-shaped member 21 is checked and the U-shaped member 21 is fitted in the groove 20a of the card main body 20 so that fitting between the inner protrusion 21b and the deep groove 20b or the deep groove 20c is released and the U-shaped member 21 can be moved longitudinally.
