Abstract:
To provide an ice making section of a flow-down type ice maker for preventing the joint of ice.
A pair of ice making plates 26, 26 are vertically erected and cooling pipes 28 are arranged between ice making plates 26, 26 so that their straight portions 28a have contact with the ice making plates 26 in vertically spaced relation. Between contact portions 30 of the ice making plates 26 and vertically spaced cooling pipes 28, slits 36 are formed each of which has a required length in the cross direction of the ice making plate 26. Besides, at the lower edge 36a of each of the slits 36, an inward inclined portion 40 is provided extending obliquely upward to the reverse side of the ice making plate 26.
