The control means 5 stores a history learning database DB in which a peak value Qxy is accumulated showing a time when a heat consumption amount T in the heat load Ha goes to a peak and predicts the peak value Qxy for a control period Dxy coming nearer in accordance therewith. When determining that it is impossible to predict the peak value Qxy, the control means 5 controls the operation of the energy converting means 2 in accordance with a schedule to use the heat energy input via the input means 9.
