To provide an ice heat storage type air conditioning device to obtain stable cooling capacity by promoting heat exchange between a refrigerant and ice.
A heat exchange 7 for heat storage is constituted by a plurality of serpentine heat transfer pipes 22 juxtaposed in a layer-form state and an installation distance between the heat transfer pipes 22 is narrower than a distance between the adjacent straight pipe parts. By continuing together pieces of ice 20 made on the surfaces of the heat transfer pipes, a plate-form ice is made in a vertical direction. By melting the plate-form ice through condensation and supercooling of a refrigerant in the heat transfer pipe, a region 21 of water molten in the internal part of the ice is formed. A thawing means 19 permitting water in region 21 and water outside the region to flow is situated at the heat exchanger for heat storage.
