Abstract:

To increase the number of attachment processes performed per unit time, in an ID tag label attaching device for attaching, to a predetermined object, an IC tag label including a transmission and receiving part for noncontact communication and an IC chip.

The ID tag label attaching device 1 includes: a delivery mechanism 10 for sequentially delivering RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) labels which are ID tag labels 2 to a delivery position 20E; a label transport drum for sequentially suction holding of the RFID labels 2 by a plurality of suction holding parts 21Q arranged at equal spacing on an outer peripheral surface having the center defined by a rotational axis 20X of the drum, and rotationally transporting the suction held RFID labels 2 to a transport end position 20F; and a writing means group 30 which is regularly rotated integrally with the label transport drum 20, the writing means group including a plurality of writing means 3 provided in conformation to the plurality of suction holding parts 21Q. Each writing means 3 writes necessary information to the suction held RFID label 2 by noncontact communication while the corresponding suction holding part 21Q is rotationally transported from the delivery position 20E to the transport end position 20F.
