Title:
IDENTIFICATION SIGNAL DETECTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2803450
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To detect an identification correctly when an identification signal representing segment information or the like inserted in one horizontal line of a video signal is detected by a VTR or the like.
CONSTITUTION: A synchronizing separator circuit 1 separates a horizontal synchronizing signal from a video signal and an identification signal detection pulse generating circuit 2 generates an identification signal detection pulse 9 based on the horizontal synchronizing signal. Moreover, a burst signal separation circuit 3 separates a burst signal and a band pass filter 4 applies band limit thereto. Then an automatic phase control circuit 5 generates a clock synchronously with a phase of the burst signal subject to band limit, and an identification signal detection pulse generating circuit 6 generates an identification detection pulse 10. Then a selection circuit 7 is used to select an identification signal detection pulse in response to the reproduction speed signal representing a reproduction speed of a magnetic tape or the like, and an identification signal detection circuit 8 detects an identification signal. The identification signal is stably detected in the low speed special reproduction mode and the identification is detected even in the high speed special reproduction mode.
