Title:
IGNITION APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3833500
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an ignition apparatus with a reduced stored energy having no possibility of flame failure even if a design of a high voltage output with a high speed cycle is employed.
SOLUTION: There are provided first capacitor means connected with one end of a rectified output of alternating voltage and the other end, second capacitor means connected between the one end of the rectified output of the alternating voltage and the other end and discharged independently from the first capacitor means, boosting transformer means, thyristor means, and an ignition plug. An output from the first capacitor means is connected with a series circuit of a primary wiring of the boosting transformer means and the thyristor means, and an output of the second capacitor means is connected with a series circuit of a secondary wiring of the boosting transformer means and the ignition plug.
