Abstract:
To enable ignition timing advance to timing close to a limit not to generate knocking, in relation to an ignition timing control device for an internal combustion engine.
Knock ignition timing is defined from speed, load and cylinder temperature in intake valve close of the internal combustion engine and ignition timing of the internal combustion engine is controlled based on the knock ignition timing. The knock ignition timing is preferably stored as map data corresponding to speed, load and cylinder temperature in intake valve close of the internal combustion engine.
