To provide an illuminating apparatus for sterilization which is easy to use.
An illuminating rod for sterilization includes: a sterilization lamp unit which can emit ultraviolet light; a control circuit which is electrically connected to the sterilization lamp unit allowing the sterilization lamp unit to be activated or nonactivated; an activated key which activates the sterilization lamp unit; a safety switch which allows the sterilization lamp unit to be nonactivated when the illuminating rod for sterilization is turned onto a position exceeding the predetermined angle from a normal position; and a forced operation key which gives priority to the safety switch selectively so that the activation state of the sterilization lamp unit can be maintained even when the illuminating rod for sterilization is turned onto the position exceeding the predetermined angle from the normal position.
