Abstract:
To provide an illumination device irradiating illumination light of high output and good balance.
The light irradiated from an HID lamp 12 is reflected at a reflector 11, and incident on a collimation lens 23 in a state of having a prescribed orientation. By this, the light with high parallelism can be generated at the collimation lens 23 even in the case that a light emission part 12a like the HID lamp 12 is difficult to handle as a point light source. Thus, the illumination light of high output and good balance is obtained by making such a parallel light incident on fly-eye lenses 24, 25.
