Abstract:
To provide an image area generating apparatus and the like for performing an optimization process of an area to actually perform a restoring process.SOLUTION: The image area generating apparatus includes a defect area acquisition unit for acquiring a predetermined area as a defect area that is a target to supplement a pixel value, a restoring unit for restoring an image on the basis of a restoring area in which the defect area is regarded as an initial value of the restoring area, a discomfort feeling area extracting unit for extracting from the image restored by the restoring unit a discomfort feeling area which is an area having a feeling of discomfort, and a restoring area optimizing unit for optimizing the restoring area on the basis of the discomfort feeling area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
