Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image encoder of good coding efficiency by introducing a signal common to sample set integration and skip mode activation.SOLUTION: An image encoder is configured to respond commonly to a flag in a bit stream 30 related to a first determination whether the coding parameters related to a current sample set 40 are set according to an integration candidate, or retrieved from the bit stream 30, and a second determination whether the current sample set 40 is reconstructed based only on a prediction signal depending on the coding parameters with no residual data, or reconstructed by refining the prediction signal depending on the coding parameters by the residual data in the bit stream 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
