The address of a particular pixel on an image sensor 101 is stored in a memory part 106, a counter 108 indicates the current address of data outputted from the image sensor 101, an address decoding part 109 detects a coincidence between the address of the particular pixel stored in the memory part 106 and the current address indicated by the counter 106, and an image correcting part 103 corrects pixel data corresponding to the current address and outputted from the image sensor 101, so that the defect of the data from the image sensor 101 can be corrected, thereby eliminating the need for the conventionally required frame memory.
