PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image data recording service system by which the trouble of a clerk is reduced, required facility investment can be reduced and charging can surely be performed.
SOLUTION: A customer operates a customer terminal equipment 1. Thus, a media drive 2 or a scanner 4 reads image information recorded in a brought recording carrier, and pays the equivalent of service to the clerk of a store. Only when the complement of payment is confirmed in customer terminal equipment 1, a CD-R drive 3 records digital image data corresponding to image information which is read.
