Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a playing-signal processor, etc., which can give natural expression to music data by easy operation.
SOLUTION: Music data are divided by a dividing method accepted when the expression imparting process is indicated and the musical sound characteristics (velocity, etc.), to be changed is selected; and candidates for matching intoation data (prescribing temporal variations of parameters by sections) are extracted according to the dividing method for the divided music data, the number of the sections and the musical sound characteristics to be changed, and one of the candidates is specified to perform a musical sound characteristics changing process. Namely, the music data and intonation are made to correspond to each other, section by section and the intonation data are so expanded with time by the sections of the intonation data to match the corresponding sections of the music data. Further, the velocity of each note event is varied according to the value of the parameter that the intonation data shows at the note-on time of a note event and the music data having been processed are registered.
