Abstract:
To monitor an image of a camera even when a camera is streaming an image.SOLUTION: A distribution server thumbnail image acquisition unit 100 acquires a first thumbnail image encoded by a first encoding method from the camera. A camera thumbnail image acquisition unit 110 acquires a second thumbnail image encoded by a second encoding method from a distribution server for streaming distribution of an image of a camera. A thumbnail image selection unit 120 selects either the first thumbnail image or the second thumbnail image on the basis of camera information. A re-encoding unit 130 re-encodes the selected thumbnail image into segments having a plurality of different encoding characteristics. A manifest file generation unit 140 generates a manifest file including an acquisition destination of the segments having a plurality of encoding characteristics. A storage 150 records the segments having a plurality of characteristics and the manifest file.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
