Abstract:
To provide a path to a destination location from a departure place by displaying it on a map image and provide information about the periphery of the departure place.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus 10 comprises: a specification unit 23 which specifies an imaging position included in meta data of photograph data received by a reception unit 22 as a departure place; a map image acquisition unit 24 which acquires a map image including the departure place; a path setting unit 25 which sets a path to a destination location from the departure place on the map image; an acquisition unit 26 which acquires new photograph data of the departure place; a generation unit 27 which generates a composite image obtained by combining a photographic image indicated by the new photograph data when the acquisition unit 26 acquires the new photograph data or a photographic image indicated by photograph data received by the reception unit 22 when the acquisition unit 26 cannot acquire the new photograph data on the map image including the path set by the path setting unit 25 as an image indicating the departure place; and an image formation unit 18 which forms the composite image on a recording sheet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
