Abstract:
A projection control device for a vehicle is provided with: a vehicle information acquisition unit (32) for acquiring vehicle information including a vehicle speed; a visibility information acquisition unit (34) for acquiring visibility information of a running road; a virtual vehicle video generation unit (38) for generating a virtual vehicle video of a virtual vehicle which moves in the same direction as an own vehicle in front of the own vehicle; and a projection control unit (39) for controlling projection by means of a projection unit (20) of the virtual vehicle video in such a manner that a virtual image of the virtual vehicle video generated by the virtual vehicle video generation unit (38) is visually confirmed to the front of the own vehicle. When it is determined that the visibility around the own vehicle has deteriorated on the basis of the visibility information acquired by the visibility information acquisition unit (34), the projection control unit (39) controls the projection of the virtual vehicle video in such a manner that the virtual image of the virtual vehicle video is visually confirmed to the front of the own vehicle.
