Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that image quality is reduced because appropriate correction is not necessarily performed between multiple sizes of droplets in a configuration in which a voltage value of an entire drive waveform is changed.SOLUTION: A drive waveform Pv includes pulses A, B, and C. When a pulse A, B, or C is selected depending on sizes of droplets to be discharged and applied to pressure generation means of a recording head, the number of times of use is counted for each of the pulses A, B, and C. When corrections are performed to the drive waveform, the corrections are respectively performed to the pulses A, B, and C with different correction amounts respectively corresponding to counting results of the number of times of use of the pulses A-C.
