Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress warpage of a tip of a printing medium to make the medium conveyable.SOLUTION: An image formation device includes a main control unit that has a protection belt for holding a printing medium and a suction fan for suctioning air via a suction hole provided to the protection belt and that is fan drive control means for driving the suction fan to adjust suction force, and the main control unit performs control so that suction force s1 when performing the first reciprocating movement of image formation means is greater than suction force s2 when performing the second or later reciprocating movement of the image formation means.
