Abstract:
To obtain an image formation device capable of detecting abnormality such that a motor performs rotation operation unintentionally.SOLUTION: A DC brushless motor 1 drives a prescribed driving object. A power supply circuit 11 applies a power source voltage to one end of the DC brushless motor 1. A switching unit 12 is arranged between the other end of the DC brushless motor 1 and the ground to conduct a current from the power supply circuit 11 through the DC brushless motor 1 when a voltage level of a drive signal is a prescribed level. A determination circuit 13 determines whether the voltage level of the other end of the DC brushless motor 1 is a low level or not during a period in which the voltage level of the drive signal is not the above prescribed level based on the voltage level of the other end of the DC brushless motor 1 and that of the drive signal to block a current from the power supply circuit 11 to the DC brushless motor 1 when the voltage level of the other end of the DC brushless motor 1 is the low level.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
