The identification information IDa of a cartridge loaded when the color smear correction is performed previous time is read out from the NVRAM (step S14). If the cartridge is replaced after the color smear correction is performed previous time (step S15: Yes), the color smear correction is performed (step S16), and then the identification information ID of the loaded cartridge is registered in the NVRAM as new correction performance time identification information IDa (step S17).
