Abstract:
To suitably protect a photoreceptor not only in transport of an image forming apparatus but also in maintenance of a process cartridge after the image forming apparatus operates.
The image forming apparatus which uses a detachable process cartridge having a photoreceptor includes a 1st protection member which protects the photoreceptor when the process cartridge is unloaded from the image forming apparatus and a 2nd protection member which is arranged between the photoreceptor and a transfer section of the image forming apparatus and can be discharged.
