Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably obtain a desired output with an image forming apparatus enabled to perform a reservation job function and connected to a post-process device and with an image forming system constituted by the aforementioned apparatus and post-process device.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus, enabled to execute, when a new job is input while outputting a given job, a reservation job function for storing the new job to perform outputting of the new job after outputting the given job, includes: a determination part for determining whether the new job includes a post-process to be performed by a predetermined specific post-process device in executing outputting of the stored new job; and a control part for limiting outputting of the new job if the determination part determines that the new job includes the post-process to be performed by the predetermined specific post-process device.
