A developing roller 80aK faces a photoreceptor 4K, and attracts toner in developer held by a magnet roller 78aK from the magnet roller 78ak, thereby holding the toner on its periphery. A developing roller 80bK faces the photoreceptor drum 4K downstream from the developing roller 80aK in the rotating direction of the photoreceptor drum 4K, and attracts toner in developer held by a magnet roller 78bK from the magnet roller 78bK, thereby holding the toner on its periphery. A temperature humidity sensor 34 detects the temperature and humidity of the inside of the image forming apparatus, thereby detecting an amount of electrostatic charges of toner adhering to the developing rollers 80aK and 80bK. Based on the amount of electrostatic charges, a control section 30 adjusts the amount of toner conveyed by the developing roller 80aK.
