To provide an image forming apparatus capable of suppressing time and effort when forming an image based on image information.
The image forming apparatus comprises: an image information receiving section 101 which receives the image information including identification information; a storing section 80 which stores the received image information; a timing section 110 which starts timing when receiving the image information; a login/logout processing section 91 which performs login processing etc. based on authentication of the identification information of a user; a touch panel 71 which outputs an alarm; a determining section 92 which determines whether the identification information included in the image information stored on the storing section 80 corresponds with the identification information authenticated when the login/logout processing section 91 performs the login processing; and an alarm controlling section 93 which controls the touch panel 71 to output the alarm when the determining section 92 determines correspondence of the each piece of identification information and the time timed by the timing section 110 reaches a predetermined time.
