Abstract:
To provide an image forming apparatus capable of detecting a temperature distribution in a print medium with an inexpensive configuration.
A printing unit 4 forms toner patches on a sheet. A fixing unit 20 conducts heat treatment to fix the toner patches on the sheet. A thermo label 36 is provided on the downstream side of the fixing unit 20 in a conveyance direction of the sheet, and changes its color according to a temperature of the sheet. A color sensor 34 detects the color of the thermo label 34.
