Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which allows a user to change a print layout with an intuitive operation, and allows a user to easily confirm a print image before printing regardless of single-sided or double-sided printing.SOLUTION: On a touch panel, a plurality of images in the same size are displayed separately from each other. When two touch inputs on a first image and a second image are simultaneously detected, and the distance between the first image and the second image decreases to less than a prescribed value along with the movement of the touch positions indicated by the two touch inputs, an image forming apparatus generates a third image 440 in which the two images are disposed next to each other. Further, the image forming apparatus displays the third image 440 on the touch panel in place of the first image and the second image. Thereby, a user can aggregate the two images intuitively and easily. The user can easily confirm how the two images are aggregated and printed because the aggregated images are displayed on the touch panel.
