Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a size of an apparatus body of an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus detachably includes a first unit A including an image carrier 11, and a second unit B holding developer for visualizing an electrostatic latent image on the image carrier 11 to form a developer image. The image forming apparatus includes an exposure apparatus 8 for exposing the image carrier 11 to form an electrostatic latent image. The image forming apparatus includes a first removal path X for guiding the first unit A to a first mounting position in an apparatus body C, and a second removal path Y for guiding the second unit B to a second mounting position in the apparatus body C. The first removal path X and the second removal path Y are arranged at positions sandwiching the exposure apparatus 8.
