PURPOSE: To improve a printing efficiency by supplying a print sheet to a printer with a simple structure, dealing with a high speed printing and supplying N-fold print sheets to the printer.

CONSTITUTION: A secondary sheet feeding mechanism 1 supplies a print sheet P to a printer 30 having a variable speed corresponding to a printing speed. A timing roller 5a for feeding the sheet P in contact with the sheet is intermittently rotated by an electromagnetic clutch 1a. Thus, control means detects the rotation of the printer 30 and controls an operating state of the clutch 1a in synchronization with the rotation of the printer 30.
