PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can reduce complexity of setting of an output format and complexity of confirming a number of manuscripts output for each output format, when a plurality of manuscripts having different types mixed are read, and the read manuscripts are output to a storage medium.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 10 comprises a reading device 100 that reads the manuscript, an output format setting unit 430 that sets the output format to a sheet according to a type of the manuscript, an image output unit 200 that outputs an image of the manuscript read by the reading device 100 according to the output format set by the output format setting unit 430, a count setting unit 440 that sets whether or not to count the output for the output format for each output format to the sheet, and a count unit 450 that counts for each output format the number of the outputs for the output format set to count by the count setting unit 440.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
