Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of suppressing displacement of an image printed on a sheet.SOLUTION: An image forming device comprises: a paper feeding part; a resist part; an image forming part; and a control part, which performs a first paper feeding to feed a paper sheet to a resist position by operating the a paper feeding part without operating the resist part, then, after preparation for printing becomes ready, performs a second paper feeding to feed a paper sheet to a printing position by operation the resist part and the paper feeding part. The control part measures a stand-by time period from completion of the first paper feeding through completion of the preparation for printing, and when the measured time period exceeds a threshold time period, the control part starts operation of the paper feed part first, and then, starts operation of the resist part to start the second paper feeding, while when the measured time period does not exceed the threshold time period, the control part simultaneously starts operations of the paper feeding part and the resist part to start the second paper feeding.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
