Abstract:
PURPOSE: To select the optimum picture level mode desired by an operator based on an output of a discrimination use pattern picture in the device implementing complicated picture processing.
CONSTITUTION: The image forming device having a setting mode selection section 101 selecting plural level modes whose picture level differs, a signal processing control section 102 controlling the image forming condition based on the level mode selected by the setting mode selection section 101, an internal pattern memory 103 storing plural picture elements whose picture level differs and an output section 107 forming an image on recording paper to provide an output is provided with an internal pattern generating section 104 arranging picture elements stored in the internal pattern memory 103 with a predetermined configuration and providing an output to the output section 107.
