Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that is able to inhibit removal from a storage part a print job for a user, which is highly possible to be performed earliest when the vacant capacity of the storage part becomes insufficient.SOLUTION: When a print job and a user name related with the print job are accepted by a communication interface, the print job and the user name are stored in a RAM. Additionally, a stored time, which is the time at which the print job has been stored in the RAM, is stored in the RAM. When the user name and a pass word read by a card reader are authenticated, image formation on a sheet by an image forming section is performed in block for the print job related with the user name. If the vacant capacity of the RAM becomes insufficient during the storage of the print job in the RAM, a print job related with a user name different from the user name related with the print job mentioned above is deleted from the RAM.
