Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent repetition of occurrence of an error and boot of a processor due to retry processing of transmission of printing job data when the printing job data is the cause of the error being the object of reboot of the processor.SOLUTION: An error detection unit 1D detects an error being an object of reboot of a processor 1. A port close control unit 1G executes port close processing of closing a printing reception port 5a when a predetermined port close condition is established in a case where the error is detected, and does not execute the port close processing when the port close condition is not established. The port close condition includes such a condition that the number of times of print processing executed from the start of the processor 1 to the detection of the error is less than the predetermined threshold number of times. A reboot control unit 1E reboots the processor 1 when the error is detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
