Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve productivity at the time of forming a both-surface image and a synthetic image and simultaneously, to carry a recording sheet in a stable supporting state, when a transfer is performed at the time of forming the both- surface image and the synthetic image.
CONSTITUTION: When a transfer charger 15 is in an operational location, transfer guides 19A and 19B push up the traveling side of the upper part of a transfer belt 16, and the recording sheet is adhered to a photosensitive belt 1. When the transfer charger 15 is moved to a standby position, a tension member 20 pushes down the traveling side of the lower part of the transfer belt 16, and constant tension is applied to the transfer belt 1.
