Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain such a dye fixing element that when the dye fixing element before and/or after outputting an image is stored for a long time, the peripheral part of the dye fixing element hardly changes into yellow.
SOLUTION: This dye fixing element contains a mordant and base and/or base precursor on one surface of a support. The element also has a layer containing polyvinylalcohol having ≤1500 average polymn. degree with 0.2 to 1 g/m2 coating amt. and containing alumina sol by 5 to 150 wt.% of the polyvinylalcohol on the other surface of the support.
