Abstract:
To provide an image forming method and an image forming apparatus that have low-temperature fixability and glossiness controllability in a low-glossiness area, and have good separability during fixing regardless of a difference in speed of a fixing device.SOLUTION: An image forming method of the present invention is an image forming method for fixing a toner image on a transfer material with an image forming apparatus and a toner for electrostatic charge image development containing at least a mold release agent and a binder resin. The toner for electrostatic charge image development has a storage elastic modulus G'(90) at 90°C within a range of 1.0×10to 2.5×10Pa, and a storage elastic modulus G'(150) at 150°C within a range of 1.0×10to 1.5×10Pa. The image forming method fixes the toner image on the transfer material while adjusting the surface speed of a fixing member and a pressure member for sandwiching the transfer material to form a fixing nip.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
