When a toner image is formed on third and forth surfaces P1c, P1d where no image is formed, while a sheet P1 is folded at a fold t to cause first and second surfaces P1a, P1b with toner images formed thereon to face each other, a sheet material S is held between the first and second surfaces P1a, P1b with the toner images formed thereon.
