Abstract:

To provide an image output device excellent in 2D image output based on an input 3D image.

An image output device of an embodiment comprises: input means; separation means; first image processing means; second image processing means; and control means. The input means inputs a 3D image. The separation means separates a plurality of right-eye images and a plurality of left-eye images from the 3D image. The first image processing means processes the plurality of the left-eye images or the plurality of the right-eye images. The second image processing means processes the plurality of the right-eye images or the plurality of the left-eye images. The control means performs control so as to output the plurality of the left-eye images or the plurality of the right-eye images processed by at least either the first image processing means or the second image processing means.
