Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize an image pickup unit by integrating an imaging device and an optical element having an image formation lens part.
SOLUTION: This image pickup unit is obtained by sticking the optical element 3 having a block part 3b in which the imaging device 2 is placed on a base plate 1 and which supports at least one combined lens part 3a and the image formation lens part 3a on the imaging device 2 by an adhesive, and the imaging device 2 and the optical element 3 are integrated by applying the adhesive 4 to which for instance a spacer material 6 is added to a specified point other than a light-receiving surface 5 on the imaging device 2 and assembling the optical element 3 at the specified position of the imaging device 2.
